Why the VLOG are we using video?

You may have noticed over the last few weeks we have started to roll out some videos of Mike chatting away in his car…so what is all this about? Mike explains the thoughts behind our new feature and what we hope to offer buyers and sellers in the area:

So I have become that agent that films himself talking about himself!  Some people have loved the videos…some people have hated them, but I am afraid they are here to stay.

I thought I would explain the reasons behind the videos and what we hope to achieve.

There are so many estate agents opening in our area. Only last week another two well-known agents have opened up their doors along the Shirley high street. This means that agents can no longer get away with just listing properties on Rightmove and sitting tight hoping that all will be well….We have to offer a little more to our clients.

I have made my feelings clear before about the difference in service between the local independent estate agents vs the corporate and online agents….it’s night and day!

But how can we stand out from the other independent agencies along the high street?!

Well service wise, Black and Golds certainly gives the most “bang for your buck” when looking to sell or rent your property. We are rated exceptionally well on allAgents and have a team of staff here that are all at the absolute top of their game!

Now there are a lot of agents out there offering great customer service, great adverts and great local knowledge.

But is there an agent out there giving specific knowledge about selling or renting property in our area?…not London…not even Birmingham City Centre, but our postcodes. We are talking Shirley, Hall Green, Wythall, Hollywood, Olton, Acocks Green etc etc.

Like I said in the initial video…I want to talk about things you can’t Google. I am happy to talk about anything relating to the property market in the area and even about specific properties/agencies or estates in the area.

It will also give us the chance to tell you a little bit about our story and give you an insight into Black and Golds as a company and what we stand for. You will hopefully see an agency that is trying to do things a little differently and also that have an absolute obsession with property!
